NOTES: Modelled after M1R’s entry into the Busch Clash and the Daytona 500 in 1989. This team became sponsorless and had to change numbers after Harry Gant took Skoal and #33 to Jackson Racing. In turn, Mach 1 took Jackson Racing’s #66. The team would eventually gain sponsorship, but this would be the last year for Mach 1 Racing under Hal Needham.
